How to convert text to PDF in three steps

1. Paste or type your text into the box above, or press Open .txt file to load a plain-text or Markdown file from your device.
2. Type a file name. The converter removes characters that are not allowed in file names and adds the .pdf extension for you.
3. Press Download PDF. Your browser builds the document and saves it to your usual downloads folder.

What the PDF looks like

Each PDF uses A4 pages with even margins on every side and an 11-point Helvetica font. Long lines wrap to fit the page width, your own line breaks are kept, and long text continues onto as many pages as it needs. The result is a clean, readable document suited to notes, drafts, lists, letters, and copied text you want to print or share.

Why no upload matters

Many online converters send your file to a server, process it there, and send it back. This converter runs inside your browser instead, so the text you paste is never transmitted or stored by the website. That makes it a sensible choice for personal notes or work drafts you would rather not hand to a third party.

Good to know

The PDF contains plain text only, so bold, colours, and images from copied web pages are not carried over. The built-in font is designed for Latin-alphabet text; some characters from other writing systems or emoji may not display correctly in the PDF. For those, the notepad’s print option lets you save a PDF through your browser’s own print dialog.
